Fantastic breakfast joint. Breakfast bowl was filling and had a delicious cheese sauce. Don’t pass it up, sign is easy to miss. So much better than the chain options around it. Classic American breakfast staple!

If you're looking for great food at a reasonable price, with wonderful service, this is a great little spot. We did sit in a booth that had ripped seats, but the waitress did warn us (you seat yourself). We didn't mind that, but I didn't notice the other seats torn. We had breakfast.. chipped beef gravy over toast, sausage gravy over homemade biscuits, home fries, coffee, sweet tea, and water. Everything was "scratch made" and it was delicious! We will be back the next time we travel into the area!!

The food was great, service was awesome and we will return. Especially for the chipped beef gravy on biscuits with most excellent home fries. A little hard to find but definitely worth it!

Holy Caca! This is a got to go out of your way to stop and eat. The homemade food is incredible. The homemade dessert is amazing. Thank you Amber for reading my mind about the Breakfast Bowl ! The gravy and biscuits were phenomenal. The owner does the cooking, and I wanted to know if they had a full blown chef behind the grill? The friendly service and conversation made us feel like family. Prices are very reasonable. Coffee is great. Look for the large green $ next door. It's connected to the Ability Really office on the corner. I drove by it several times, glad I turned around.

It's retro but great food and even better service. The food is home cooking and a fair price. Just tip the ladies well and they can keep the prices low. Please go hit them up if you near the Cumberland Gap and support veterans and a good community in LA Vale.

Lovely people own this and are not afraid of hard work in the kitchen! Getting in at 4am to bake biscuits and prepare peach compote!! Delicious Delicious Delicious They claim pancakes are as big as your face, but NO!!! They're as big as hefty hubcaps at this Filling station!! Roz owner/baker/cook is awesome and friendly and in the know about the area around her and suggested places to explore while we were in town. It's a tiny hole in the wall, with huge yummy eats!!! Thank you guys!!!
